PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
"Charm is the Essence of a Woman's Power"
Welcome to the official website of the Palm Beach County Chapter of The Charmettes, Incorporated, located in West Palm Beach, Florida. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the 35th president of this historical chapter of dedicated, distinguished achievers in the community.
The Charmettes, Incorporated is a national civic organization that had its beginnings when friends Gwendolyn Baker Rodgers and Frankie Drayton Thomas recognized the need for an organization that would bring together women with similar ideas, principles, and backgrounds to organize themselves to utilize their skills, talents, and resources for community impact. They invited eight friends to join them, and on June 17, 1951, they birthed The Charmettes, Inc.
In 1981, the organization adopted a national thrust to eradicate cancer in our lifetime. We are proud to say that this year, The Palm Beach County Chapter of The Charmettes, Incorporated is celebrating 72 years of public service to our beloved community. We provide several activities aligned with our mission. From time to time, we invite you to revisit our website to see what we have planned and how you can get involved.
Thank you for your continued support and interest in the Palm Beach County Chapter. We invite you to participate in our upcoming fundraisers, events, and community service projects.
Yours in service,
Keturah I. Howard
