ANNUAL FUNDRAISERS

FANCY HAT CELEBRATION

The "Fancy Hat Celebration” is a NATIONAL PROJECT of The Charmettes, Inc. created as a Cancer support initiative for the Howard University Cancer Research Center. This fundraiser takes place in March every year. All contributions raised from this signature event are presented at The Charmettes, Inc. National Convention each year.

MALE SPLENDOR FASHION EXTRAVAGANZA

In 1981, The Charmettes, Inc. adopted the Howard University Cancer Center, one of the leading institutions in the country for cancer research and education. Since that time, we have contributed over $950,000 to the Howard University Cancer Research Center for the support of cancer research and education. One of our signature fundraising events is the “Male Splendor Fashion Extravaganza and Luncheon.” Proceeds from this event go to maintaining the Gwendolyn Baker Rodgers Infusion Suite/The Charmettes, Inc. located at Howard University.
